Meet Dr. Cornman, Ph.D

Dr. Tom Cornman brings decades of senior-level leadership experience in Christian higher education and mission-driven organizations to his role as Director of Timothy Search. He has served in executive and cabinet-level positions at institutions including Moody Bible Institute, Cedarville University, Trinity International University, and Corban University, most recently as interim president, working closely with boards, search committees, faculty, and senior leaders during seasons of transition and discernment.

Having both led organizations and been responsible for hiring senior leaders, Tom understands what makes a search succeed—or fail. His work is grounded in integrity, mission alignment, and long-term fit. With a doctorate, deep theological and cultural fluency, and decades of experience navigating the complexities of Christian institutions, Tom is uniquely qualified to guide boards and leaders through hiring decisions that shape culture, strengthen mission, and endure over time.
