Rich Cummins brings over 25 years of comprehensive nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience to his role as President of The Timothy Group. His diverse background encompasses university administration as Vice President, rescue mission fundraising, global CEO leadership, and extensive consulting work. Throughout his career, he has successfully led multimillion-dollar fundraising initiatives, developed sustainable donor programs, and provided strategic guidance to organizations seeking to maximize their philanthropic impact.

Rich’s expertise spans all aspects of nonprofit development, including capital campaign management, major donor cultivation, and organizational strategy development. As a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), he specializes in helping faith-based organizations align their fundraising efforts with their mission objectives. He is co-author of Emotional Intelligence in Christ, which explores leadership principles and emotional intelligence through a Christian perspective.

In his current role, Rich focuses on empowering faith-based organizations to achieve their missions through strategic philanthropy and donor engagement. His approach combines proven fundraising methodologies with deep understanding of ministry culture and values. Rich is married to Danielle and is the father of five children. His personal interests include hiking, fitness, basketball, travel, and reading nonfiction literature.
