Elly Heckel brings over 15 years of ministry and nonprofit leadership experience to her role as Senior Consultant with The Timothy Group. She serves as an integral member of the marketing and client engagement team, specializing in aligning fundraising strategy with organizational messaging. Her work focuses on enhancing organizational visibility, strengthening donor relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic communications.

Through her involvement with Volunteers of America Dakotas’ GreaterGoods program, Elly has provided strategic guidance to more than 420 churches, nonprofits, and schools across the region. Her support includes developing communication frameworks and providing practical tools designed to expand organizational impact and effectiveness.

As a Digital Marketing and Brand Specialist, Elly helps organizations articulate their mission through compelling messaging and strategic storytelling. She equips development teams with campaign strategy and donor communication systems that advance donor relationships and strengthen fundraising outcomes. Her collaborative approach with leadership teams emphasizes building sustainable fundraising pipelines, enhancing major gift initiatives, and cultivating organizational cultures of stewardship.
