What is Grounded & Growing?

Grounded & Growing: The Christian Nonprofit Fundraising Intensive is a one-day development training seminar hosted by The Timothy Group at the Drury Inn & Suites in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We designed it for ministry leaders and development professionals who want practical, biblically grounded fundraising tools they can put to work immediately.

Whether you’ve been in the development world for three months or thirty years, you’ll leave with fresh clarity, sharper skills, and the confidence to grow generosity at your organization.

What to Expect

Grounded & Growing runs from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on September 10, 2026. Every session is taught through a Christian worldview, starting with our foundational session on the biblical basis of asking — because before we talk strategy, we want to anchor everything in Scripture.

Throughout the day, you’ll work through the fundraising challenges most relevant to the ministries in the room. Topics are shaped by who’s attending, so the training stays practical and personal.
