Dr. Thompson possesses comprehensive expertise in fundraising and development work, including building and managing major gift officer teams, mid-level donor programs, church relations, and foundation engagement. His technical skills encompass donor file analysis and wealth analytics applications designed to enhance ministry revenue growth. His approach combines analytical rigor with pastoral sensitivity and biblical principles.
Dr. Thompson holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Stewardship and Advancement at Global Disciples in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
