President/Founder
Hey there! Let me tell you about Pat McLaughlin – this guy’s got some seriously cool stories to share. When he’s not running The Timothy Group (which he started back in ’90), you might catch him behind home plate calling balls and strikes. He’s actually been umping baseball games for 37 years at both college and high school levels – we’re talking 850 games under his belt!
Pat’s been a real game-changer in the Christian nonprofit world since 1981, helping over 1,854 organizations step up their game. Think of him as a Swiss Army knife of expertise – he does everything from coaching major donor programs and training boards to mapping out big-picture strategies and running killer fundraising campaigns. And get this – his work’s taken him all around the globe!
The Christian Leadership Association clearly thinks he’s the real deal too – they’ve got him teaching on their national faculty and even named him their “Outstanding Stewardship Educator.” Oh, and he’s got some books under his belt: “
Major Donor Game Plan,” “
The C Factor” (which helps solve those tricky capital campaign puzzles), and “
Haggai & Friends” with its 66 different takes on stewardship.
When he’s not doing all that, you might spot him on Michigan’s baseball diamonds, officially certified by the state’s High School Athletic Association. And if you’re wondering about his background, he’s got his degree from Denver Baptist Theological Seminary. Pretty neat mix of talents, right?
